Made from heavyweight 80% cotton / 20% polyester French terry, originally in its raw off-white tone. The garment is dyed and then locally treated to create variations in tone and wear across the surface.
The piece features intentional, hand-finished distressing, created with a cutter and sanded by hand to achieve an irregular frayed effect. The openings reveal the original color of the fabric, creating a contrast against the dyed grey surface.
The graphic intervention references The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus. The phrase is hand-painted with a brush using water-based screen-printing ink and heat-cured. The text appears across the hood, back and sleeves, changing in intensity and gradually fragmenting as it moves across the garment.
The design is completed with an timeless silhouette, front zip closure and finishes that complement the distressed character of the piece.
